3Strands fights to eliminate global human trafficking by creating opportunities for sustainable employment for trafficking survivors and those at risk.
Every bracelet 3Strands sells transcends commerce. Each one can be traced back to a tragedy that is being reversed. Each one is a step on the path to a proud and sustainable future.
3Strands (powered by Corporate Visions), is a for-profit brand with products made by survivors of human trafficking and those at risk.
We work with artisan partners around the world to produce products, providing job opportunities for human trafficking survivors and at-risk individuals, offering hope for a future.
In February 2011, Apricot Lane CEO Ken and his wife Kris met with Don and Bridget Brewster of Agape International Missions (AIM), and learned of AIM’s efforts to build a trafficking-free world. AIM’s incredible programs in Cambodia already prevented trafficking, rescued survivors, and worked to reintegrate the girls and women back into society, but they knew that survivors needed one more key element to build lifelong success: Jobs.
Ken and Kris answered the call and created 3Strands to give survivors stability and independence through employment.
With 3Strands' help and support, survivors create beautiful bracelets, handbags, and other products. 3Strands markets and sells those products, providing an effective distribution system that allows the survivors reach markets they could never reach on their own, maximize the benefit of their work, and spread their story across the globe.
